Solar Star Cleaning Services ("we", "us") respects your privacy and processes personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA).

What we collect

When you request a quote or contact us, we collect the details you give us: your name, phone number, email address (if provided), suburb or town, property type, approximate number of panels and any message. Our web server also records standard technical information such as your IP address and browser type for security purposes.

Why we use it

• To respond to your enquiry and prepare a quotation.
• To arrange, carry out and follow up on the services you book.
• To protect our website against spam and abuse.

We do not sell your information, and we do not send marketing messages unless you've asked us to.

Who we share it with

Only with service providers we need to run our business, such as our website and email host, and only to the extent necessary. We may disclose information where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry information for as long as needed to respond and to provide our services, and for any period required by law. Enquiries that don't lead to work are deleted within 12 months.

Cookies

This website uses a single essential session cookie, only on the quote form, to protect it against spam and forged submissions. Google reCAPTCHA (see below) may also set its own cookies on the contact page. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.

Spam protection (Google reCAPTCHA)

Our quote form uses Google reCAPTCHA to tell people from automated spam. reCAPTCHA collects information about your device and how you use the page, and sends it to Google for analysis. Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply.

Your rights

You may ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or object to its processing. Contact us at contact@solarstar.co.za or 083 239 3939. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (South Africa) at inforegulator.org.za.
